PEG A. MASCIOTTO  MEMORIAL $1000.00 SCHOLARSHIP

 

This fund was set up in memory of Peg Masciotto, who passed away during her term as President of the Association. The $1,000.00 scholarship is awarded annually to one recipient.

 

Essay topic:  "If you could make a change to one law for the Betterment of Society in NJ, what would it be. How would it benefit the world?"

Applications and all requirements must be forwarded to:  Lucy DeLoreto, C.M.C.A., Newton Municipal Court, 39 Trinity Street, Newton, NJ  07860-1823.  All scholarship applications must be received no later than April 15, 2015.

 

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

 

A Municipal Court Administrator, Deputy Court Administrator or other Municipal Court personnel or any child or grandchild of same

1. C average or better

2. New Jersey Resident

3. Proof of acceptance as a matriculated student to an accredited institution

4. Two letters of recommendation (academic or professional, not personal)

5. Applicants are to compose an essay (minimum of 250 to 500 words, typed-double spaced)
